Annual Banquet

  Note: this is a regular meeting night. Anyone is welcome to attend the lecture after the banquet.

Topic: Collecting Minerals at Foley Peak, British Columbia

This talk focuses on collecting world-class specimens of Japan-law quartz crystals at one of the most scenic collecting spots imaginable. The talk will include images and discussion of the beautiful scenery, collecting techniques, including repelling down a mountain-side, and of course, a look at some of the wonderful; specimens collected at this remote spot.
